The Assistants to the President of Al-Ameed University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Maytham Hameed Al-Qanbar, and for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul Raheem, received the international expert, faculty member at Imperial College London, and Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Public Health Education and Training, Prof. Dr. Salman Rawaf. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Al-Salih.
During the meeting, ways to enhance scientific and academic cooperation between the two sides were discussed, along with exchanging visions on developing public health programs and supporting joint educational initiatives that contribute to advancing the scientific level of students and developing the skills of medical staff.
This visit came as part of the university's orientation toward strengthening its academic partnerships with global health institutions and solidifying its position as a leading educational institution that seeks excellence in the fields of medical education, training, and scientific research.
